Friending policy: you may friend and de-friend at will. If I know you from reading other people's journals, or from a community, or if I see you have interests in common with mine, I will friend you back. Engage me in conversation, I am pretty easy to get to know. If I friend you first, it means I have been reading your journal, and decided I liked reading it enough to add you.

I am a registered nurse, I am happily married, I have a college-age son. I am mainly here on Live Journal for fandom, but I do write about my life here, too. If you are interested in my work-life you will have to read her_new_day, which is flocked. If I get to know you here, and you want to friend that journal, just add me, I will most likely add you back. My primary fandom is The X-Files, although I was a huge fan of Stargate SG1, when Richard Dean Anderson was still on the show. In The X-Files fandom, I am a noromo, but this journal is both slasher and shipper friendly. Although I also love Mulder, my favorite character is Scully. If you say rude things about her, be prepared to get a spirited discussion from me. I co-moderate xf_book_club with emily_shore and I read and write fan fiction. Besides The X-Files, my other current obsession is the poetry of Emily Dickinson. At dickinson_poems, I've been posting her poems, one a day. I love to read and I am the maintainer and moderator at book_reading.
